CrewX is a crew rotation, travel and ticketing system operated by ITL Tourism & Travel LLC (“ITL World”, “we”, “us”). It is a private business system used by ITL World and its corporate clients to arrange travel for offshore and rig personnel.
This policy explains what personal information CrewX handles, why, who it is shared with, and how to contact us about it. It applies to the CrewX website at crewx.travel and to the CrewX mobile application.
You cannot sign up for CrewX yourself. Accounts are created by your employer or by ITL World. If you are a crew member, your employer decides what information about you is entered into CrewX, and your employer is responsible for that decision. ITL World processes that information in order to arrange your travel.

CrewX shares personal information only where it is needed to arrange travel or to run the service:
To issue a ticket or make a hotel booking we must pass the traveller’s name, date of birth and passport details to the airline, hotel or global distribution system concerned. Those organisations handle that information under their own privacy policies.
To save manual typing, CrewX can read the details out of an e-ticket, hotel voucher or passport automatically. To do this, the text or image of the document is sent to Google’s Gemini AI service, which returns the structured details — for example the flight number, the ticket number, or the passport number. This means passport and ticket information is transmitted to Google as part of that process.
We use this only to populate the travel record. It is not used to build a profile of you, and it is not used for advertising.
Your employer’s authorised staff — for example your rig administrator, rig manager or HR team — can see your travel records, documents and document expiry dates in CrewX.
Our hosting and email providers process data on our behalf under contract, and only as instructed by us.
CrewX data is stored on servers located in the United Arab Emirates. Where information is transferred outside the country in which it was collected — including to the service providers described above — we take steps to ensure it remains protected to the standard required by applicable law.
Travel records and their supporting documents are retained for as long as your employer’s contract with ITL World requires, and afterwards only for as long as needed to meet legal, tax or audit obligations. Retention period: 5 years after the end of the contract.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to object to how it is used.
Because CrewX accounts belong to your employer, the quickest route is usually to speak to your travel desk or HR team. You can also contact us directly using the details below, and you can request deletion at crewx.travel/data-deletion.html.
Please note that we may be unable to delete records we are required to keep for legal or audit reasons, or that your employer requires us to retain.
CrewX is a workplace system intended only for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information about children.
If we change how CrewX handles personal information we will update this page and change the date at the top.
